Donna Boyce

Director of Programs

Donna Boyce is Director of Programs of Sustainable Long Island; a nonprofit organization that advances sustainable development across Long Island. Ms. Boyce manages Sustainable Long Island’s programs staff and is responsible for overseeing and spearheading the organization’s brownfields redevelopment, food equity, community revitalization, and environmental justice projects and initiatives. Ms. Boyce holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor’s of Art in History and Political Science. She has experience working in governmental and non-profit settings; most recently in Nassau County’s Office of Housing & Homeless Services as Director of Homeless Services managing homelessness prevention and emergency programs. Ms. Boyce has worked in community development including Planning/Visioning in the Village of Hempstead in support of an updated Comprehensive Plan, allowing for mixed-use in the downtown area and paving the way for the redevelopment of a 26-acre parcel in the heart of the Village. Previously, Ms. Boyce worked at The INN, which provides emergency and longer-term food and housing assistance to Long Islanders in need.
